About the Biosciences Communications and Publications Initiative

The Biosciences Communications and Publications Initiative aims to provide an effective, supportive and efficient forum for scholars and practitioners in all spheres of biological sciences to publish their research findings and/or ideas and communicate to the wider world. Our main target group are scientists in developing countries who are often unable to publish due to language barriers, imbalanced peer review processes, high publication costs, application of findings geographically limited, etc. Our goal is to minimise the distress, challenges and difficulties that are persistently encountered by scientists from developing countries when attempting to publish their work in credible journals. We aim:

to provide supportive, high quality and credible outlets through which scientists can publish and communicate their findings.
to establish and maintain systems that expendite the peer review process, at all times ensuring review is completed within 2 - 3 weeks.
to publish all materials on the internet where it will be openly and freely accessible to everyone interested.
to support career growth of scientists in developing countries by honourably and respectably providing them with an opportunity and support to showcase their outputs and achievements to the world.
to provide these services affordably at all times, taking into consideration the income disparities of scientists in developing countries.
